Festivities in Cannes : Nuits d’Eté – Beethoven /P. Bianconi

Each summer, on La Croisette - the most glamorous boulevards of the French Riviera - the Cannes "Palais des Festivals et des Congrès" offers numerous shows and festivals to make the most of the summer season.

This Tuesday July 27th, 2021, starts “Les Nuits d’Été”, presented by Philippe Bianconi.

Philippe Bianconi - for whom the interpretation of French music has always been of great importance - established himself as one of the most accomplished instrumentalists in France.

Trained at the Conservatory of Nice - his hometown - Philippe Bianconi has been pursuing an international career for more than thirty years, from Berlin to Sydney, via London and San Francisco. Everywhere he goes, one praises the poetry of his playing and the beauty of his sound.

Under the direction of Benjamin Levy and with the Orchester of Cannes, the virtuoso fingers of Philippe Bianconi will perform Beethoven's last piano concerto: “The Emperor”.

Through his “Nuits d’Été”, he shares a moment filled with emotion, gentleness, and restraint, with the only accompaniment of his piano.
