Press Architectural Digest - Le Manoir Belgrano

The Manoir Belgrano, a true architectural landmark in Cimiez (Nice), is home to a superb apartment with terrace offered for sale by Eric Laboue, sales director of Nice's real estate agency Côte d'Azur Sotheby's International Realty.

The Cimiez district, nestled between lush gardens and architectural remains, stands like a serene oasis. It is home to renowned cultural institutions such as the Musée National Marc Chagall and the Musée Matisse.

Built in 1911 by architect Charles Dalmas, Le Manoir Belgrano captures the essence of English manor houses and Loire Valley châteaux, characterized by its two octagonal Gothic-style towers.

The Frenchman has left his mark on Nice with many iconic buildings, including the Palais Winter, the Hôtel Hermitage, the Villa Argentine, the Grand Palais and the Carlton-Carabacel. Inspired by the Château de Blois and English manor houses, he created this monument by fusing Gothic and Renaissance styles. Ideally located near the famous Régina, the Matisse Museum, the Cimiez arena garden and the monastery, this vast residence enjoys a peaceful, verdant environment that benefits all its residents.

At its peak, a 147 m² apartment unfolds with sumptuous detail. A grand stone staircase adorned with stained glass, ceiling moldings, fireplaces, trumeaux and parquet flooring, as well as three bedrooms, define its luxurious character. The master bathroom even nestles in one of the turrets, playing with architectural nuances while offering panoramic views of Nice and the sea.

Like an ocean liner embracing the Mediterranean Sea, a 90 m² terrace serves as a summer dining room, solarium and observatory. This timeless interior offers its future owner a place among a select few.
