A Porsche with purpose, by Sotheby's
It is during this very special period that our auction house Sotheby’s used its brand notoriety to work for a good cause by raising funds during an online auction intended to combat COVID-19. The money raised will be donated to the United Way Worldwide association.

The sale consists of the famous Porsche car company which has developed a modified version of its iconic 911 ‘Speedster’ model comprising the last chassis for the 991 models created by the brand.

The particularity of this unique luxury car is that it has been technically improved thanks to a six-cylinder engine from its cousin the 991 GT3 (instead of four-cylinders) in order to gain power, comfort mode and weight reduced to 1,465 kg for more suppleness.

In terms of design and finish, it incorporates a ‘Heritage’ pack (estimated at more than $24,000) including lateral graphics in metallic white paint to give a ‘GT’ look, a black dashboard to minimize reflections and fiber composite seats upholstered in Cognac leather.

In order to attract more enthusiasm and interest around this sale, the lucky owner can come and collect his lot at an event created for this special occasion in the United States and greeted by the President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, Klaus Zellmer.

In addition, he will be invited to discover the manufacturing facilities in Weissach, Germany and, to join the director of the 911 model to enjoy a few circuit laps.

To experience Luxury at its very best...
- an exceptional book retracing the production of the last 991 model from the 911 era, including photos of its construction.
- an outstanding titanium watch designed by Porsche design department, laser engraved with the same chassis number as the car on the back of its main piece.

Luxury, by Sotheby's : this incredible car will surely be appreciated by all luxury car lovers.

Bidding is set to open at 05 :00 PM on Wednesday 15 April (France Time), and set to close at 07 : 00 PM on Wednesday 22 April (France Time).
