Press Propriétés Le Figaro : Special section Real Estate Experts

Propriétés Le Figaro interviews real estate experts from all over France for their Cahier Spécial. Frederic Barth, CEO and member of the Private Desk at Côte d'Azur Sotheby's International Realty, talks about the strength of the group, its local expertise and the power of our global network. Frédéric Barth elaborates on the history, added value and typology of properties and sectors that Côte d'Azur Sotheby's International Realty offers.

The Sotheby's International Realty network is intrinsically associated with the Sotheby's auction house founded in London in the 17th century. This heritage is deeply rooted in the DNA of Côte d'Azur Sotheby's International Realty. When we sell real estate, we promote a lifestyle that is intimately linked to the worldwide renown of the Sotheby's brand. This synergy explains why we have so many customers in common.

All are looking for what sets us apart from most of our competitors: a highly personalized and unique approach to personal projects, in an environment imbued with elegance and refinement. What's more, we draw on an excellent network of trusted tax, legal and banking consultants to handle transactions with professionalism, discretion and efficiency. Another important asset is the alliance between our local expertise, thanks to our many long-established offices in the heart of micro-markets with their own dynamics, and the power of the world's largest network, present in 81 countries.

The properties we manage are presented on the Côte d'Azur Sotheby's International Realty website, as well as on Sotheby's International Realty France - Monaco and on Sotheby's International Realty, which is the most consulted website in the world. This formidable strength enables us to find potential buyers on an international scale. Our area extends from Le Lavandou to the Monegasque and Italian borders. We have historically specialized in the luxury and ultra-luxury real estate market, but to better meet the requirements of all our customers, we have expanded our activities into the mid-range segment over the past 5 years. The limits of this new segment vary according to geographical area: in Saint-Tropez, properties up to 8 million euros are concerned, while in Cannes or Nice, they do not exceed 3 million euros.

In the luxury and ultra-luxury segment, which is our core business, we offer sumptuous properties in Saint-Tropez, ranging from 20 to 30 million euros, such as a magnificent contemporary house offering, in my opinion, the finest view of the Cap d'Antibes on the west side, or a Venetian palace in Cannes for 35 million euros, and the Villa L'Aiglon, an Art Deco architectural gem located between Monaco and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, for 39 million euros.
