Lionel Messi acquires luxury villa for 10 million Euros in Miami

Soccer superstar Lionel Messi recently purchased a sumptuous 975 square metre residence close to the Inter Miami stadium, for an impressive 10.75 million dollars, or around 10.06 million euros.

With seven Ballon d'Or awards to his name, Lionel Messi has established himself as the most successful footballer in history. His arrival in the Inter Miami team has created a real buzz, with the price of match tickets and soccer shirts soaring.

Forced to move to Florida in July to honor his commitments to Inter Miami, Lionel Messi opted for a sumptuous 10-bedroom, 9-bathroom residence. Nestled along a stream in a private estate in Bay Colony, northeast of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the property boasts a swimming pool and a three-car garage.

Although the images of the house have not been made public, they reveal an elegant entrance with dark wallpaper, while the rest of the home is characterized by a bright, modern ambience. The kitchen and living areas are enhanced by recessed lighting, neutral-toned furniture and white walls. Each room is bathed in light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, and the main room is described as gigantic, with a private balcony.

Although Lionel Messi is one of the world's highest-paid players, with a contract at Inter Miami earning him between $50 and $60 million a year, taking his net worth to around $600 million, it's interesting to note that a Miami architect had originally designed a $50 million home for Messi, but the latter preferred to opt for a more sober abode.

Jennifer Abbott of ONE Sotheby's International Realty acted as seller's representative in this exceptional transaction.

This collaboration between one of the world's most renowned real estate agencies and the football star is testament to Messi's commitment to excellence at every stage of his life. Like the world's number one soccer player, put your trust in the Sotheby's International Realty network.
