2021 - A successful year for luxury real estate, by Sotheby’s International Realty.
2021 is set to become a record year for luxury real estate in France and Monaco - here is the message developed by Mr. Alexander Kraft, CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty France-Monaco.

Increased sales volumes, secondary home real estate projects, relocation of the main residence for a better quality of life, and investment in assets are at the heart of this dynamic.

While the high-end market once again unveiled an exclusive French clientele, international buyers are gradually making their comeback after a pandemic period that we all remember.

As Alexander Kraft explains, the Sotheby's International Realty France Monaco network had achieved more than 910 million euros in sales volume at the end of August, 43% more than last year at the same period - an exceptional market, mainly driven since 2020 by French clients seeking to improve their living environment and choosing a safe investment.

Teleworking and successive lockdowns led, among other things, to this consequence: those who were used to booking for seasonal rental finally turned to an acquisition, in search of more flexibility, space, tranquility, outdoors, not to mention an office space - so many determining criteria in a real estate project.

Nevertheless, Alexander Kraft underlines the return of international buyers, mostly European for the moment, concerning the whole territory, even if the Americans are back since this summer (note - Americans can again travel since the end of June) on the sectors they traditionally prefer: Côte d'Azur, South of France, and of course Paris.

In Paris, luxury real estate prices remained stable, and our agencies in the 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 16th and 17th arrondissements achieved very good sales. This activity is observed throughout the country by the 55 agencies of the Sotheby’s International Realty France Monaco network, both in metropolitan areas and in seaside resorts, in the South of France or in the mountains.

Côte d´Azur Sotheby’s International Realty achieved beautiful sales this year, including an exceptional country home in the heart of the prestigious private estate of the Parcs de Saint-Tropez, or a luxury property in Roquebrune Cap Martin, to name a few.

Read the entire article and the interview (videos) of Monsieur Kraft, including the presentation of several very high-end properties currently marketed by agencies of the Sotheby's International Realty France-Monaco real estate network, with a special highlight of the Villa K - a contemporary-style villa located on the Cap d'Antibes, facing the sea.

Sold turnkey, this luxury home offers very high-end services, elegant decor, a peaceful environment, in the heart of one of the most sought-after areas of the Côte d'Azur, in the immediate vicinity of the beaches, and from the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc.
