Sneak Peek : Miami, Florida (US)
We are delighted today to take you to the United States, more precisely to Miami, Florida, thanks to our friend and colleague Florian Jouin from One Sotheby's International Realty, who shares with you the American dream that he has been living for several years now!

"In this dynamic city in perpetual evolution, there is always something new to discover. Of course, there are classics like Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, Wynwood or Little Havana, but there are also other outstanding places.

Sunset Harbour & Belle Isle

Located in Miami Beach at the corner of Bay Road and 18th Street, this new district has become in a few years a trendy place where you can find Panther Coffe - which is the equivalent of Starbucks in Miami and also Ice Box which has very good desserts and a brunch menu. You also have different kinds of restaurants: Thai, Italian, Mexican ... and a "boot camp version" gym in order to lose all the calories taken during your lunches and dinners! The "new kid" is called Sushi Garage which I would definitely recommend to you. Don’t forget to cross the bridge to watch the sunset on the Standard Hotel Deck.

South of Fifth

At the southern tip of Miami Beach, this luxury district where my offices are located should be a must-see stop on your visit to Miami.
I have lunch quite often in Milos which has an unbeatable lunch formula. Another on-the-go option is the Pura Vida restaurant which has the best organic wraps and salads in all of Miami.
The South of Fifth Park is a good place for a stroll and admire the cruise ships that leave the harbor after 5 PM. The best spot to watch this show is the Smith & Wollensky water terrace. I also like Upland’s happy hour and of course Joe’s Stone Crab’s crab cake.

Design District

An architectural feat to be visited for this luxury shopping mall where the most luxury have built their own boutique with brilliant architectural details. Dior has created its own roof-top café, Baccarat has a restaurant and there are even two restaurants by Joël Robuchon (‘L’Atelier’ and ‘Le Jardinier’). I can suggest you to go for lunch or dinner at Mandolin which is my favorite restaurant in Miami. Do not miss the French cakes from Buena Vista Deli bakery.

Brickell City Center

A colossal project that was built in the middle of the financial center of Miami by Swire properties which is the shareholder of Cathay Pacific and one of the biggest real estate owners in Hong Kong. The center consists of 5 towers connected by a covered shopping center. There are 2 apartments towers called ‘Rise’ and ‘Reach’, 2 offices towers and 1 tower only reserved for the East Hotel. There is also a cinema with XXL seats where you can order food from your seat and a roof-top bar on the 40th floor of ‘East’. I also advise you to stop at the Aqua di Parma boutique, which is the only boutique of the brand in the USA.

There are still a lot of neighborhoods to discover like Mimo, Surfside, Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove. Please, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you are coming to Miami soon."
