The Cannes Film Festival
Being the most prestigious and most publicized cinematic event in the world, the Film Festival first edition is usually know to be in 1946.

In fact, the first Film Festival, to be presided by Mr. Louis Lumière, was scheduled for September 1, 1939; History will interfere, and the event will be canceled - canceled, but never forgotten: in 2002, the Jury, chaired by Mr. Jean d'Ormesson, will award the 1939 Palme d'Or, with 63 years late.

This year again, Cannes will host for nearly two weeks producers, actors, directors, great artists and stars of the "show-biz" for the 72nd edition of the Festival, as well as an exceptional Jury under the Presidency of a Latino-american filmmaker, Alejandro  Gonzales Inàrritu, who will be accompanied by 4 women and 4 men from 4 continents and from 7 different nationalities, and who will unveil on May 25 his prize list during the Closing Ceremony.

2 weeks during which talent and art mix with the splendor of exceptional evenings (remember the Secret Garden Party of Chopard, in 2018, organized at the Château de la Croix des Gardes, a luxurious historic property with a panoramic sea view, rented by Côte d'Azur Sotheby's International Realty, your luxury real estate agency on the Croisette in Cannes).
