Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions and Côte d’Azur Sotheby’s International Realty Announce the Sale of Château de Tournon near Cannes for €2,030,000

A remarkable historic estate in the coveted countryside of the French Riviera changes hands through the collaboration of both teams.

CANNES, FRANCE, 14 November 2025 - Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions, in collaboration with Côte d’Azur Sotheby’s International Realty, is proud to announce the sale of Château de Tournon for €2,030,000, following a 15-day auction marketing period. This highly sought-after 528 sqm property embodies Provençal elegance, blending heritage and potential, just 35 minutes from Cannes.

Set on nearly 5,860 sqm in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, the château, currently reduced to its stone core, offers its future owner a unique opportunity to create an exceptional residence, perfectly integrated into the privacy of the Riviera countryside.

Designed by a renowned architect, the estate spans three levels and includes six en-suite bedrooms. Existing features include a natural wine cellar, a spa pavilion, and a swimming pool, while the French-style gardens, lush vegetation, and complete privacy enhance the estate’s overall appeal. The level grounds are ideal for entertaining, relaxation, and enjoying the Provençal lifestyle amid rolling hills and the scents of the local garrigue.

“The strong response generated by Château de Tournon illustrates the global demand for rare, character-filled properties,” said Kyri Papoui, Vice President of Business Development EMEA at Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions. “This successful sale reaffirms our commitment to achieving exceptional results for prestigious estates in the world’s most sought-after destinations.”

“Château de Tournon offered a rare opportunity to own a piece of history, reimagined as a contemporary masterpiece in one of France’s most captivating regions,” added Frédéric Barth, CEO and Private Desk Member. “It was a privilege to collaborate with the teams at Concierge Auctions and Côte d’Azur Sotheby’s International Realty to ensure the success of this sale and reveal the full potential of this exceptional property.”
