Biography:

Negotiator for our agency at 18 rue du Clocher in Saint-Tropez, Luca Sorrentino, an Italian born on the Amalfi Coast, discovered Saint-Tropez in 2007 while working for a luxury hotel.
He spent his summers there, and took advantage of the winter season to start an international career, traveling the whole world, including Australia, to Dallas, at ‘Harwood International’.
When everything seems to destine him to live the ‘American Dream’, Luca decides to return to Saint-Tropez to become a real estate negotiator. He then joined a Tropezian agency and developed market knowledge and commercial skills, fully integrating into the microcosm of what once a simple little fishing village.
Luca Sorrentino joined Côte d’Azur Sotheby’s International Realty, expert in French Riviera real estate, in December 2019 and entirely dedicated himself to apartments and villas in Saint-Tropez and its surroundings, up to the Var coast for waterfront properties.

The Saint-Tropez market against the Covid-19:

"The health crisis and this pandemic that no one will forget have not impacted the real estate market in Saint-Tropez, to date.
While the whole world was confined, requests for rentals in the area exploded, as the requests from potential buyers; even if tenants and buyers negotiate the prices to a decrease due to a global economic crisis, the demands still give the power to the owners.
For rental, the questions of organizing a date stay are more complicated: loss of the security deposit in the event of an obligation to cancel, travel authorization to Europe, etc.
Prices remain stable at the moment, but it is possible that there will be a slight decrease for some goods up to a certain price range: even though this will rarely be the case for luxury real estate… and we notice that owning a property in this sector is already a fabulous prestige!"

Saint-Tropez:

"Owning on the peninsula is a privilege that cannot be acquired for less than 2 million euros for a 4-bedroom villa to refresh with a swimming pool.
For a contemporary villa sold turnkey, but without a sea view, it is necessary to invest 3 to 5 million euros.
In order to enjoy in addition to a sea view, an investment between 6 and 8 million euros will be the minimum required, and double if you are looking for a property with a large park and a panoramic view.
As for a waterfront property, located in a sought-after area, it is around 20 million euros and a renovation will often be necessary.
Finally, if we aim for ultimate luxury, the budget will be above 40 million euros.
The prices mentioned here relate to the most popular locations in Saint-Tropez: the port, Saint-Anne, Capon, Canoubiers, Tahiti and secure areas as the ‘Parcs of Saint-Tropez’ or the‘Capilla’. "
